Well, the weekend is here and we have zero plans. Sometimes zero plans can be good. But sometimes zero plans turns into two days spent indoors refereeing wrestling children who can not stand to be either near or apart from each other. Which trust me is not entertaining, relaxing or restorative in the least. And 25% of us have a cold. I was able to battle it off (I found this yoga sequence to be really helpful), but another one of us was struck yesterday. But wait. I guess I have some … [Read more...] about what kaly found v.14

Well, the bad news is that the internet is annoying me this week. I have yet to find any little treasures that I want to pass on to you. It's all Bieber this and Bieber that. Although you do have to admit that his mug shot is classic. Come on, you know you want to have a looksie. So as I'm sitting here picking the nail polish off my nails which always seems like a good idea until you're about 2/3 of the way through and realize it was a very bad idea but too late to stop now, I am thinking … [Read more...] about what kaly found v.13

Well, let's see, what I found this week is that it's pretty difficult to get anything done when your youngest is wiped out by a stomach bug. Watching your kids be sick is bad enough, but sitting around waiting for it to strike you isn't much fun either. I thought that this week I would give you a list of some of my favorite books that have helped me over the last few years. After I posted the whole story of my personal development, I realized that I was offering a glimpse into something … [Read more...] about what kaly found v.12

A lot of resolution buzz going around this week. My favorite take was over at Trouvé Magazine which you should check out anyway because it's a beautiful and honest ode to the creative lifestyle. Enjoy life seems about the best resolution around. And while I'm not personally one for resolutions, I do like a little challenge to shake things up especially with the long month of January stretches out coldly ahead of me. (Speaking of a long, cold January, this version of Snowstorms, Then & Now … [Read more...] about what kaly found v. 11

I haven't spent a lot of time writing about food and health on the blog, because I feel like there's already so much information out there, and I don't really have anything new to add to the conversation. But today I'm really excited to share with you a little something that's become a holiday tradition in our house. Two years ago I was trying to think of a gift that I could make, that would be useful and not just more stuff. I started keeping track of our favorite family recipes and printing … [Read more...] about what kaly found – favorite recipes

For the romantics - There's been a lot of discussion this week about Love Actually and whether or not it's a good movie or a romantic movie or even a Christmas movie.
