I think I might have just solved my own problem. My last post was a boatload of excuses about why I couldn’t get my act together to blog. And since I’ve posted that string of whininess, I’ve kind of done a 180 about how I manage my time and how I need to fit writing and creativity into my day. reality check
I'm coming to terms with the fact that summer is seriously cutting into my ability to blog on a consistent basis. When I'm not playing Battleship, I'm packing snacks for the pool and when the sun goes down I'm assembling IKEA furniture and unpacking and organizing our house and taking a yoga class here and there. I'm headed back to Philadelphia today for one last visit before we move and banging out this post in record speed before I get on the road. I had such a great time on my last trip, I'm worried that the bar has been set a little too high. I'm driving down instead of taking the train so I am relying on Podcasts instead of magazines. So yeah, I took a break from my blog, and I am having a hard time getting back to business. It wasn’t intentional. Looking back at my recent posts, even I'm starting to get sick of my own “insights”. I’m a very reflective and insightful person, which is a nice way of saying that I am in my head and have way too much time on my hands.
