Announcing Let’s Get Real: Six Lessons in Designing a Connected Life

May 28, 2015 Kaly Sullivan 1 Comment

get-realRecently as I’ve been out in the world talking about moving and relocation and getting the word out about my book Good Move, it occurred to me that yes, people and families move all of the time. There isn’t anything inherently remarkable about that. It’s an unpleasant hoop that we all jump through at some point or another because we all need a place to live.

But when you strip away that top layer of inconvenience and massive to-do lists, what’s left is a series of choices, decisions, and yes, even values that represent who we are in this world.

And at the end of the day, that carries into everything. It’s bigger than moving.

It’s designing your life.

Because my family is in the process of moving again (Don’t worry – I’ll get you up to speed!), I think it is the perfect time to drudge all of that up and share it with you. I want to spill all the nitty-gritty, tough shit that is going down around here over the next six to eight weeks. In real time. As we’re going through it as a family trying to figure it out.

I want to share with you six lessons from moving that apply to all areas of your life.

Maybe moving isn’t your thing. Maybe your thing is focusing on your health or changing careers or having a child. Maybe it’s any transition that you’re facing that leaves your stomach in knots.

Designing a life that represents us to the core can be about moving or about something completely different.

In a series of weekly emails I will share how you can…

  1. Get real about where you are now
  2. Lay the groundwork for any big change
  3. Quell doubt and those pesky inner voices
  4. Deal with uncertainty
  5. Stay grounded in what is really important
  6. Manage the highs and lows of transitions

Plus, there will be a few surprises thrown in along the way.

If you’re already a blog subscriber, you don’t have to do a thing. The lessons will show up in your email starting on June 3, 2015 and come weekly for six weeks.

If you want in, all you have to do is hook me up with your email and you’ll start receiving the emails next week too.

And just so we’re clear, these posts will NOT be on my blog. And they are not in my book. The only way you will get them is through email.

I’m calling this email series: Let’s Get Real.

You have one week to sign up.

I would love for you to come along for our next moving adventure. It’s about to get real.
