Fill Your Bucket: Moving With Kids

Fill Your Bucket

When BonBon Break put out a call for submissions for their Fill Your Bucket theme, I was excited to throw my hat in the ring. One, because I am a huge advocate for filling one’s bucket, and two because I thought this would be a great opportunity to share more about our relocation and how it impacted our family.

Sometimes filling your bucket is not intentional. It’s a byproduct of another event in your life or a transition that you are going through. And it’s only looking back that you can see how empty your bucket was getting, how desperately it needed to be filled.

This is, and is not, a piece about moving. Sure, the catalyst for our change was our relocation, but the transitions our family went through were about so much more than our physical location.

I wanted to share that as scary as change may feel there can be positive outcomes if you are open to them. If you’re facing a any sort of life change, I think this post applies. Head on over to BonBon Break to check it out.

You can see all of the Fill Your Bucket selections here.
