This week is for the ladies.

My first two finds come via Upworthy. If you don’t know this site, their tag line is “Things that matter” and if you subscribe, they will send you three videos a day of cool stuff. I just subscribed this week and so far, I’m totally loving it.

This first video really got under my skin in the best way. If you have a daughter, it’s a must watch. It’s a beautifully written and performed piece about women and self-worth and how it cycles from generation to generation. I watched it three times in a row and teared up every time.

It still really blows my mind that women don’t have equal rights under our constitution. This filmmaker is taking a look at the war on women in this country and the grass roots movement to get the ERA passed. It’s worth checking out the promo for her movie. Come one ladies, we can do better. We deserve better.

Am I the only one that missed The Conversation?!??!?  This series sits down with some of my favorite female celebs (yes G.P. is in the first episode but there’s also Connie Britton, Jane Fonda, Lady GaGa, Christina Applegate to name a few) to talk about love, truth, motherhood, wisdom, career. The big stuff. It’s hosted by Amanda de Cadenet who I didn’t know at all but her interview style is relaxed, friendly and authentic. I am totally hooked and you can be too.  All of the episodes are available in full on the web site.

Get your girl power on this weekend!
