three things

April 26, 2013 Kaly Sullivan Leave a Comment

Every morning this week, I’ve woken up before my alarm in a panic because it’s so freakin bright outside.  But I’m not oversleeping.  It just that spring is here with its longer days, crisp mornings and breezy afternoons.  Here are three things that are putting a little spring in my step this week.

Three-Things

1. Keds are back. With no socks and bright white laces, I’m feeling like I’m back in 6th grade. I picked up my grey knock-off’s at Target and am finding that they’re the perfect transition shoe until sandal weather hits in full force.

2. Jenna Lyons is all over the place these days.  I loved reading this profile of her in Fast Company.  Seeing how J. Crew has transformed itself under Jenna’s leadership by letting creativity trump business is a Cinderella story for those who love a good brand.  I’m a fan and jumping on the Jenna bandwagon.  More with Jenna in May’s Bazaar.

3. I returned to an old frenemy this week – hot yoga. I’ve been out of yoga practice for a little over a year and have been thinking about possibly maybe getting back into it for a few months now. This week I finally took the plunge, drenched myself in sweat and made it through most of the class.  Going back today for more because it just hurts so good.

Anything happening that’s making you feel springy?
