First thing, just a reminder that you can join my email list and get my blog posts in your inbox. You don’t have to miss a thing.
Starting off with a few things that made me laugh this week…
Lyz Lenz is one of my favorite writers when it comes to humor and parenting. Check out 6 Holiday Candle Scents That I Need This Year. I can not pick just one. I want them all. (Hint: This is a spoof. And not just for parents.)
Vanity Fair takes on 21 Time Consuming Problems from the 80’s. A little taste:
6) Blowing on the cartridges of your Atari or Nintendo when they don’t play correctly. Do you remember who taught you to do that? No? That’s because NO ONE TAUGHT YOU. You just knew it, like you knew how to chew food.
I couldn’t make it all fun and games so here is my favorite find of the week that really hit a nerve with me. Shauna Niequiest explores why women shouldn’t give up their own unique calling even when the practicalities of motherhood make it seem impossible.
And one last thing…a short and inspiring post from Seth Godin: The first lie…
Hope you have a very real weekend.
