So much good stuff this week. Lots to share…
I was so excited to come across this interview with author and fellow introvert Susan Cain. Which led me to her TED talk. Which led me to ordering her book, Quiet. As an introvert, I feel like I have been trying my whole life to fight against my nature, but Susan’s work is a good reminder that the world needs introverts too. If you’re an introvert or love an introvert, the TED talk is a great place to start.
Loved this article in the New York Times I Want to Be A Millennial When I Retire – if you haven’t noticed, I have a thing for generational stuff.
This is another multi-generational look via Salon at a father giving advice to his kids that is the complete opposite of the advice he got from his father. A lot of good stuff about perfection in this one.
Here’s some great critical thinking about technology from Slate: Your Smartphone Has Officially Hijacked Your Life
And finally, don’t miss Wes Anderson’s (love) latest. A short film starring Jason Schwartzman (love) set in Italy (love).
Have a very real weekend.
