Hey there – I’m Kaly.
(Rhymes with Bailey. I’ve spent a lifetime being called, Kally rhymes with Sally)
I used to write a blog about my attempts to lead a mindful, connected life. But a few years ago, I had a story I wanted to tell, and I saw it as a television show.
Now I write female-driven television and features with multi-layered characters and whip-smart dialogue.
A North Florida native and women’s college grad, my goals are to work on a female-driven tv series, attend as many film festivals as possible, and collaborate with people passionate about telling diverse stories.
My day job is Creative Director for a global brand where I get to pitch and receive loads of feedback. I can take a note.
I’ve also had stints as a satirical mommy blogger, sports mom, and certified cat lady – also mostly by day. Not really a night person.
You can find me on Coverfly and Instagram.
My work has been featured on Mamalode, BLUNTmoms, Scary Mommy, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, BonBon Break and more. I’ve also been included in the anthology Mom for the Holiday. My non-fiction book Good Move about moving with kids is available through major booksellers.
